A ringworld is a place of interesting consideration. Just how do things look there? How does it really feel being on one? The concept of light being directly above at all times, with shadows directly below. Something that doesn't occur to a dweller on a planet. Motion is one direction, with shadow flowing alternate; an eclipse every 'day'.
Amendelwyr does live on Installation-117.
Bringing this concept to life was... difficult. Both with trying to help Charlie improve his vision of Amendelwyr herself, on top of megaflora and a horizon for a ringworld. But, I'm satisfied enough with it now.
This is my last commission from this artist, just because of how much work it took 'me' to guide them AND correct them continually...
