Five Cards and a Vixen
Another batch, although these things are way out of order.
Cards from top left and down are...
First we have
kitana's character (who is not Kitana but just a vixen persona) as a gray warden. She hasn't played the second DA game but told me in the first she was a sword and board warrior with the human noble background. I tried to make the picture reflect strength, nobility, and just a bit of sass.
Then we have a character of mine who is almost as old as Three. Her name is Aember and she was created for a friend to play in a Palladium TMNT game that never took off, but I liked her design and kept drawing her long after the game fizzled. She started out as a sort of fox/mustelid hybrid thing. Oddly, her character design hasn't changed all that much over the years beyond tweaks to reflect my own improvement in drawing. I just felt like drawing her again.
Someone asked me if Three hated the water, and as a result the third card was born. I decided to draw her taking a swim early morning in a lake. She doesn't have a wild crazy love for swimming, but enjoys it for fun every now and again. Plus lakes often contain fish, and she really likes her fish. I went crazy with the colors on this by inking the water in blue and trying to make the colors and light and shadows look like early morning. And yes, someone has already bought this ;)
Below that we have a raccoon, and I decided that if this was a raccoon then he needed to be holding BLING, so I got my little stick on gems and strung them along the chain I drew. This card is very hypnotic to raccoons, ferrets, and kittybirds.
And the last card is a dragon in a red kimono sipping sake. I like drawing dragons.
All of these cards were inked in sepia inks for experiment's sake. I kind of like the resulting look and I may do more of it with the cards from now on. The brown ink lends itself to a sort of warm moodish look.
And finally we have a badge for
arisuvixen. Before anyone compliments me on the pose or costume design, I can take no credit for either as I was asked to make it look like an image from the character design image. I was fine with it, but I just don't want to take credit for someone else's concept. ;)
All of these are done in copic markers with some gelpen and colored pencil for detail and touchup work. The cards are on 2.5 x 3.5 illustration board. Aember and the dragoness are currently for sale, but everything else is sold and/or spoken for.
Thanks for another fun night!
