Matt got to work quick after breeding me, picking up straw and grass nearby, he helped make a nice nest for us and our future geeselings. I helped as well the first day until I felt the first of many eggs forming inside of me. He put his wing over me, keeping me safe while I laid my first egg.
I worried about it cracking, but it landed safely in the nest! The next few days I laid a few more eggs in the nest until we had half a dozen! Matt had a strong seed!
But we both held off on mating again as this was going to be our first set of hatchlings, and we wanted to raise them right!
