while looking through some past arts, I found one of my marker experiments...
This character here, Marion, was one of my first anthros... and she's a pirate... lol
She's also DEATHLY afraid of humans.
But anyways, I posted this up on another art site and I got a comment of "This looks like my ass", lol.. I thought that was also another tidbit to put up.. because some random webtroll's ass looks like a fuzzy pirate cheetah girl.
(Oh! and that sloppy sig there? I Sign my traditional stuffs as TK once I feel they're finished... my nickname used to be Tagged Kitty way way way back when, so I just keep it going, heh)

Hmmm... well whoever that "troll" was, I guess he had a really pretty ass!
Seriously though, I really do like this picture. The right hand on the forehead is superb, and I must compliment you on how perfect that turned out! I really detest drawing hands and I personally think that they (feet too) are one of the most difficult parts of the body to draw.
I also really like the subtle details in the picture as well! I really think the notch in the ear is a cute add-in as well as the claws on the fingers.
The hair and fur tuffs are great too! The detail in the strands with all the little squiggles gives it that springy/bouncy/curly feeling which I really like and the highlights do their job very well. I also think that you did a very nice job transitioning the lighter belly fur with the darker back fur. It looks very nice and smooth.
The sheer fact that it was done with traditional tools is another major plus in my book just because I love traditional media! I have a huge respect for anyone who can draw with traditional tools, and you are no exception.
The only "con" I can see is that the left hand is a little distorted and out of proportion. I think that the hand itself can't really bend that far back when the arm is extended at that angle, and that further foreshortening would be required to get it back into perspective. Then again, it is an older work so I'm sure that you have improved :D
So yeah, besides the left hand, I really think that the rest of the pic is perfect, and is great overall! Thank you very much for sharing.
Now I have to go snoop through the rest of your gallery!
