Just as Daniela and Valkyrie where getting ready to make way for the journey ahead. They where called back, to have Daniela’s damaged radar resistant coatings replaced and have her outfitted with a new experimental flight leotard designed for her. While on the way to the “painting booth” Valkyrie began to tell Daniela about her past.
During the second world war, Valkyrie was a part of a highly decorated fighter/bomber interceptor squadron, one day in mid February of 1945 while on leave with her squadron in the German city of Dresden they where alerted to the sound of explosions and the ground shaking. When they looked up the noticed Allied bombers flying above the city dropping their bombs on the city below. When the bombing raids ended two days later Valkyrie was the only member of her squadron still alive.
Valkyrie attempted to get help for the humans in the city when she met face to face with the advancing Red Army from the east. She was captured by the Soviets and was treated abnormally well for a German POW but that’s because they didn’t want her to suspect anything especially with the plains they had for her. Shorty after she escaped the soviets and headed west where she was captured by the Aeromorphs from the United States Army Air Core, Valkyrie seeing no better option surrendered to the Americans.
By April of 1945 Valkyrie was shipped off the the United Stated where she would be inspected than shipped off to a military base in the Nevada desert. It was there that Valkyrie would have a hand in the advancement of Aeromorph technology and in the 1950s she would become a trainer for newer jet-powered Aeromorphs
And in the 1970s she was retired and offered a spot at an Aeromorph museum but refused deciding to stay on the Air-base where 60 years later she would be approached by an F-22 Aeromorph who offered the adventure of a life-time how could she refuse.
