In the center of this shot is the new needle that I found (I also discovered the sewing kit that I thought I'd lost). By this point I'd sewn the pieces of the legs together, so I didn't have to worry about any of the claws or red dicks blowing away.

My cat Oreo sat with me for a while and provided moral support.
