Hi folks - it's been a long, long time, ahha. Sorry about that.
This is a drawing of Bao directing someone into the beginnings of a wooded area. It's also the first drawing I've ever made using a real tablet (and tablet pen). It's obvious more attention was paid to my guy than the background - but I don't regret it because this is the best Bao design I've ever put together by far! In the future, I'll try smaller line weights and incorporate a "color sketch layer" to my process.
Infinite Painter, the free app I used, reminds me a lot of Disney Art Academy (but more powerful of course) - experimenting with it's limitations sounds like a nice picnic of nostalgic fun. And it has process-capture videos, so that might open up some socail media doors that were previously closed (TikToc). ^^
I enjoy polishing up sketches way more than they have any right to be, haha
