The Dragonor Rock Dragon Leviathan
So hey! Welcome back to another post!
This time i wanted to do another creature. Getting a bit into subnautica again i was inspired to do another aquatic Leviathan.
So here you have the Dragonor! A big 72 meter long creature living in the rocky deep ocean regions of Turuscan, the same planet the Turuscan trench Leviathan can be found on https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48272490/. Usually The Trench leviathan and the Dragonor would not meet, due the completely different enviroments their live in.
The Dragonor has a long body with 4 sets of limbs, with 2 main and 2 auxiliary limbs, these together allow it to crawl on the seafloor or along rock formations, with its heay bashers it can smash rocks to make itself caves or catch its prey that like to hide in caves slightly to small for this apex predator. The sharp appendages are good for slashing or climbing along surfaces.
The creatures jaws are very very powerfull, able to crush the shell of any creature or crush them in half. Even stones arent same from the hard beak like growths overlapping with the teeth and the resilient teeth itself. For catching prey in more dark enviroments the Dragonors tongue emitts a attracting and lovely blue glow, a trait it shares with the Turascan trench leviathan.
So yeah thanks for checking out!
Stay fluffy!

Oh subnautica is great! It's the biggest reason I began to do art. And thank you! Glad you think so!
Below zero.. well I liked it, it wasn't as good as the original, I mean it couldn't have been as it was a very different game concept with a more small but more detailed map and much of land area. It was a cool change to have more land focuse and even meet Maida. It was cool and had a lot of base stuff and such subnautica kinda packed.
But it.. was a small let down from the original, but I don't really blame unknown worlds. They wanted to experiment and see what works. It is still a great game but there was a lack of real great leviathans too.
All in all, a good game, but not a step up from the original, but not awful in any way.

Yeah! I think that's what gets to most people, the comparison. I think it was a great decision overall to go a different direction with below zero; they can't just make subnautica again. They already hit the nail on the head so there's nothing meaningful to add. I think below zero should be treated as its own thing, whole different concept, just in the same world. I love both individually. But yeah lack of leviathan variety was pretty unfortunate
Also, in the topic of below zero, i think snow stalkers could generally use some more attention, if you're ever in the mood ^^ I always got excited finding them in my playthrough
