Chess-wolf. Is the name of the specie I have decided to name since he is more or less based on a cheessboard piece. (like his name says)

A little back story, in case you don't know it. Well, I've created this character back in 2007, with the idea of making a new character since in that time I kind of got bored of the ones I've drawn back then lol. And I really liked drawing spiky haircuts on my wolves, so I just had to add that on him.
Initially he was supposed to have a racing car markin' on his back (been a gear-head since a younger age, heh), but anyhow, one of my best friends named him Rook 'cause that's the first thing that came into his mind when he saw him lol, so since then he remained as Rook and decided to make his marking look more like a chessboard than anything else.
Why purple? Because back then I really fancied that color. Plain and simple.
