Suspension
A drawing from 2004 I still quite enjoy. Here is the original text from DA:
"Well.
I have no idea where the idea of putting http://Silerenth.deviantart.com in a glass cylinder full of suspension/sustaining fluid with tubes all through her came from, but I'm starting up a series of these kinds of drawings (the Insanity series), so be sure to expect more of these to come.
I wanted to take my time with this one; I wanted it to have an illustration-like feel to it, and I think it slightly shows - this took me about two days over all to complete, and I really had to force myself to take my time with it near the end. ^^ Just finished it tonight.
I love how Silerenth's head turned out the most, and the part of the tail that is pressed against the glass."

Even the human one? Well, it is important to the relevance of the images, so I suppose I should, hehe.
This is certainly one of my odder images, though I can't say I'm fully outside of drawing things like this today! I think I was most interested in the concept of it, and it turned out the dragon I drew (Silerenth) actually had a rather visceral reaction to it - I'm not sure if I had heard some of her story before I drew this, but if I didn't, it's oddly coincidental how her story and the image relate to one another. You can see the whole thing in the DA version of this: http://leccathufurvicael.deviantart.....nsion-11326382

Wow... it's gotta be a great feeling to get a reaction like that!
As for the human one, yeah, I'd say go for it as long as you're comfortable having your image out there. I actually find pictures and photos of otherkin's human selves oddly fascinating, especially when comparing them to their kinforms. So the two together make a nice matched set that way, I think think. They're both very good self portraits too that capture you well.
But Sailing Among the Schematics for double sure... it's one of your best works!
