Through the thick and thin this single anthro has gone. With a rough time in the boot camp mixed in with some hatred from her peers, the once private Fowler worked day in and day out to get to the position she now finds herself in. With a few broken noses, disciplinary actions, and a dozen dead hostiles to democracy behind her, she now finds herself once again in another war in the Middle East. But, not only does she have to fight that war, but she fights one within her platoon, constantly butting heads with others. And even though many hate her, they won't deny she's one wolverine mean son of a bitch. "I hate this place, I've always hated this place." History -
Born in Greybull, Wyoming on December 15th, 1991. Alaine Fowler was born into a hard-working blue-collar family, her father working in the steel industry while her mother worked office jobs for the local police department. Growing up, she was never the strong one in the family, needing her older brother to back her up against any type of bully or person who dared to pick on her. Malcolm, Alaine's brother was more of a troublemaker than she was back when they were in their youth. However, when she hit middle school, around grade six, her brother started working railway jobs in order to help out the family, meaning she lost the protection her brother provided. With the last dozen or so years of school left being hard on her, she lost interest quickly in her tight-knit town, instead looking for anything to get her out of that town she hated so much. That answer was the United States Marine Corps. Joining up, she became the first generation marine of her family, and while excited at first, all of that initial excitement was lost within a heartbeat. The yelling of the Di's and the harassment from her peers left her feeling alone, and as if the world was against her. Her innocent tone was lost, as she became a much more blunt person, and by the time it was over, not even the classes to help marines back into civilian life could fix her. She became a brutally blunt person, which got her in trouble most of the time. However, when the wars rolled around, her overall attitude fit perfectly into a warzone. Yet, her brutality in language also leaked over into her actions, leading to some questionable results. These results left many marines within her Platoon to have an overall dislike of her, whether it was her demanding people around from other teams or snapping at people for saying or doing the wrong thing, many people ended up hating her. Even with that hatred in most other marines, another chunk of marines enjoyed the wolverine. Suppose they could get past her harder outer shell that is. Inside her is relatively speaking a kind and caring person, even while she fails to appear so. From the high-ups to her even level and some below her rank, plenty of other marines enjoy her as a person, for the very few who have seen her more civilized side. When it comes down to it, she's one of those marines who will never be able to return to the life they left behind. Within their mind is the Marine Corps, the orders, the yelling, the atmosphere, and the mindset. It is grilled into her head, so much so that her own family doesn't even recognize her anymore. And she'll be even different when the war is over, if she ever leaves the Marines that is. Even with all that, by the time the 2016 Iraqi war sparked once again, she had climbed the ladder to Sergeant, being an effective Marine, and leader overall. Art was done by the amazing -
