Life in Crystal Empire

Ramon was orpaned on the streets of Crystal Empire when he was still a colt. Luck would happen to him as the tyrant ruler Sombra took pity and adopted Ramon and even made him an heir so that none could claim it, despite being a Pegasus
Ramon was well taken of and well educated to become the next ruler of the Crystal Empire (and so that Cadence and Shining Armor couldn’t take it).

Despite being a Pegasus, Sombra wanted to teach him Shadow Magic as he did see talent and potential, he decided he'd pick a fight with the Onyx Kingdom, as conquering it would make him legendary, even if it was a high risk given the kingdom's powerful military.
Ramon told him not to risk it as he’s too young to assume the throne should something happen to Sombra.

Sombra decided he wouldn't interfere given he did have a point and decided to target Equestria instead given they’d be easier. Ramon often took strolls and and all the Crystal Ponies bowed down to him, but mostly with fear and disgust.

Kidnapped Pony

Despite Ramons protest, Sombra actually went ahead and declared war on the Onyx Kingdom, much to Ramons horror as the Crystal Empire doesn't stand a chance.
Sombra had the idea of kidnapping his two sons and forcing the kingdom to surrender.
Ramon was also brought to the battlefield to learn about war.
He saw that King Onox himself appeared with a pair of young ponies, a blue Alicorn and a Yellow Unicorn, Ramon was smitten by the Blue Alicorn.

The war didn't last long as Sombra lost and was imprisoned. Onox saw that Ramon was the heir and gave him an offer, He’d surrender The Crystal Empire surrendered and he'd spare Sombra and the Crystal Ponies and the Crystal Heart.
Ramon surrendered, only to survive and get to know his sons, who seem distant and unimpressed.

He was astonished that they wanted to become rulers of the Crystal Empire now that it was under Onyx rule, he was dismayed at first, but seeing that they had caring hearts made him look the other way. Even being treated like an older brother.
Several days passed and he went on his normal lifestyle, despite Onox’s reign, the crystal ponies at least seemed to be in better spirits, wondering if Sombra really was that evil.
Ramon was ambushed and captured by sone hunters, they seemed to be interested in his powers and took him away.

Otsutsuki Lab

He woke up suddenly in some cages with other strange creatures he’s never seen. He saw some being taken to be experimented on, others were being recruited by more strange characters in white lab coats.
He saw in the corner some other strange creatures trying to fight and break out, obly to be either knocked out by gas or shocked by paralyses bars.

As much as others wanted to be friends, he became distant. When his turn came up, what was done to him was tough, theyd see more potential if he can use magic, which is what they did.
With magic splicing, he ended up qith unicorn powers, but thanks to his exposure with Sombra’s he can only use Shadow magic, despite not having a horn.

He desperately wanted to at least join one of the hunting units, but none nore the 9 controllers saw or was even interested in him.
With defeat in his heart, he decided to take on a new appearance, dying his mane and tail red black and putting on some eyeliner he fashioned.

Despite his hate towards the lab, it did give him some benefits such as stronger muscles in the wings and using shadow magic, and of course fast healing gel blood. He was to be free as he was concerned for Sombra.
Luck was on his side as lab was being destroyed by the escaped pamp beasts, and much of the staff being defeated by rebels and making jumps into random rifts.
Ramon jumped into the nearest one.

Different World?

Ramon woke up luckily in the Crystal Empire, however it looked off as the Crystal Ponies looked more depressed than ever and they didn't recognize him, even saying Sombra has no kin, yet still rules the Crystal Empire, but got banished.

Ramon wondered if he was in some strange mirror world. He tries to get to the castle, but wasn't welcomed by guards, so he decides to stay at a nearby alley for now.
He woke up to see The mane 6 fighting with Sombra and being defeated by Spike. With him not existing here, his throne being taken by Cadence and Shining Armor, he decided to leave the Crystal Empire.

He wondered how different the world he's inhabiting is. When he tested his new shadow powers, the crystal ponies saw him as a colt close to Sombra, seeing a crowd he ran away.
Cadence and Shining Armor wanted to give him a home in the Crystal Empire, but seeing it wasn't his and given his new outlook, he found their positivity annoying and ran away.

Ragtag Home

He managed to get to Canterlot trying to decide what he should do now since he had no family or home, and he was even stuck in some strange place.
Strolling around, his heart was beating as he saw two familiar ponies, Artisan and Sandoku.
He ran to see them, like the others, they didn't recognize him. What confused him more is that they were more expressive, which he was fond of.

He decided to ask them to hang out and get to the bottom of this.
They sat down for lunch and he was surprised to find they had no interest in ruling and even wanted nothing to do with royalty.
Artisan also can't stand being a king or ruler and finds them uncomforting. He was surprised at how much of an introvert Sandoku was, seeing these two as a huge difference.

Ramon said that he was also Equestrian royalty, but had to abandon the title. All three formed a kinship due to no longer being royal, despite Artisan being a different version, he still had feelings towards him, loving this version better than the other.
They saw he had no home to go to, and asked if he wanted to live with them, which made his heart flutter.

As they were walking, he met a strange colored Earth Pony with a green mane and tail. They introduced him as Ethan, one of their brothers.
Ethan recognized him from the same lab as he wqs giving off the same aura as Pampaku. After some talking, Ramon decided to live with them, as multiverse does sound enjoyable and would enjoy their diaper antics.
Even making him an honorary ragtag with a mark like Sandokus. He figured living with them would be fun and wants to get closer to Artisan and Sandoku given all three have similar backgrounds.
