Oh, so that's what the slime does..! Quest complete? No? Well, time to go!
Hey everyone! ^vv^/ This week was quite a surprise! I've been posting my art on twitter, along with some of my game progress reports and I noticed my last few have done... surprisingly well! ^vv^ No doubt the result of all the reposts people were making (thank you a bunch!). It culminated in a huge boost in followers from a post I made about the cheat to play as any monster I mentioned in my last description here! So thanks a lot! The cheat is in place, and it should be all green to go for the rest of the game! ^vv^
To celebrate hitting 300 followers on twitter, as well as 160 watchers here, I'm planning out a free art thing I can do to give you all something back! ^vv^ Not sure how it'll work, but I'll update you when I figure it out! In the meantime, I have a few commissions to post here and a YCH already planned- afterwards we'll get back to that idea! ^vv^ So keep your eyes peeled for the summer-based YCH I have planned... maybe next week on tuesday! We'll see ^vv^
Anyway, with the cheat in place, for those of you who don't know all the details- when you enable it in the options -> misc -> PQ restrictions, it will let you choose any monster (and I mean any) for your player and partner monsters ever put into the game. That includes normal monsters, subspecies, variants, deviants, elder dragons, anything ever added! ^vv^ The only limitation is that you can't play as an NPC like Doctor Malfestio of course, or most scripted bosses (May change, we'll see)! >vv< Keep in mind that these monsters not intended for player/partner use have fewer unique sprites overall and less skills and genes put into them. That doesn't make them any less powerful because of some mechanics yet to be revealed, but it is something to keep in mind if it would affect your experience negatively!
This should also be a great head start for custom monsters further down the road- since I should be able to plug it into accepting any modded in monsters when we come across that. Time will tell! In the meantime, I gotta get back to work on the Burrow's sprites since there's a lot to get done there ^vv^
