A Morningstar forged in the reaches of Argonia using the bark and roots of a Mangrove tree, stones from the ruins of an Imperial fortress, leather from a decaying horse, metal forged and molded from an elder in Blackrose- and a stone chiseled over generations of an Argonian bloodline. Once the weapon was finished and all the components ready, the Hist-tree near the grounds enchanted the mace's head with its sap, a coaxing yellow sap that perpetually leaks off of it.
It was an heirloom for this long-gone tribe, passed down for centuries if not millennia. This weapon was never meant to leave the marsh and was only for the most loyal soldier to protect their homelands from those who would dare try to end their peaceful existence.
Sometime, around 30ish years ago, a small Dunmer force invaded upper Shadowfen, attacking and burning down the entire settlement of the tribe, killing any who dare rebelled and stealing the unhatched eggs, taking them back to Redoran Stonefall. During the transition back to Morrowind, one of the guards found the Morningstar lodged into other of the soldier's skulls and upon trying to pick it up the guard went mad, lashing out and attacking his colleagues. This was enough evidence to intrigued a high-ranking Dunmer offical who demanding them bring it back to him and locked it in his studies in protected glass as a trophy.
