And here he is, completing my roster: Asher, the Cinderace!
Being aimless and having too much energy in his younger years had this guy get into quite a few needless scuffles.
One day he sat down, had a good long look at himself - fur scorched, fresh scars on his leg, bruises eveywhere - and realized he didn't want this kind of life.
Enrolling at the Great Academy of Augusta gave him purpose, an outlet, and most importantly: friends.
With time, his fur became pretty, most of his scars but memories and his gaze hopeful.
Though he hasn't lost his penchant for easily becoming bored and never quite trusting his own considerable strength, his years with his favourite teacher Professor Rubrum, his friendly rival Maestro and sunshine of his life Fey have mellowed and tempered him into a fine young man.
Win his (begrudging) respect, and he will always be there when push comes to shove. Even if he complains afterwards.
Odd jobs and part-time engagements keep him in check, which is why he's had almost every "low effort" job there is at the Academy, even multiple at a time. Rookie guardsman at some low level restricted area, or mail man, or librarian, or dishwasher... more people have made his acquaintance than Rubrum's.
This is also where he got his scarf: The key symbol is the emblem of the Keyholders, the guard division he used to help out at. The scarf was a gift for a job well done.
