Last year, New York State's Capitol Region had its first furry convention in a quarter century, taking place in the City of Troy. Today kicks off the City of Albany's first furry convention in 26 years, after Albany Anthrocon moved out of Albany to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania (while dropping "Albany" out of its name to become "Anthrocon"). Now in its sophomore year, Eufuria is ending Albany proper's fur con drought starting this evening! Eufuria will be taking place at the Albany Capitol Center from this evening until tomorrow night. I'll be arriving tomorrow morning with a Sports Mascot Fanatics Meet N Greet panel in Panel Room 2 at 10AM. If you're going, I hope to see you there!
This lavender raccoon is Eufuria's mascot, "Joy From Troy". This is my rendition of this ringtailed cutie, jumping for joy (the emotion, not because its name is Joy) because of how excited this raccoon is for Eufuria to finally began this evening! I'm just as excited as Joy is for Eufuria, and I hope to see you there!
