The next morning, Artison woke up on a rather soft carpet... and wrapped with a blanket. He looked more and saw how the sheets wrapped around his body lovingly. He yelped out, panicking and scrambled to get out of bed. He flailed, tossed, and turned, then rolled off the bed. Artison slammed on the floor even more tangled than he was before. "Get them off, get them off!" Eventually he got free of his bindings and the red wolf took a few moments to catch his breath afterwards. He looked around the place, the room was certainly his, but he often left the bed for Mira to sleep on.
"I don't recall coming back here to sleep..." Artison pondered out loud, then he sighed and got up, "Loretta must have done so to tease me again." He walked out of the bedroom and found both his sister and his assistant in the kitchen, "Good morning ladies."

"Wakey, Wakey, sleepy head." Loretta chuckled as she ate some eggs, "Have a seat, Mira's an amazing cook."

"That, may be what I needed..." Artison said, and took a seat, "...After waking up in that deathtrap of a sleeping place."

"You mean you're bed?" Mira said, "I thought you would like somewhere more comfy for once."

"Tiz not comfortable." Artison groaned, "Every time I find myself in one, I feel like I'll won't breath or get tangled in the blankets. Heck, the ladder happened this morning."

"Let's just put that aside for now." Loretta said, ears halfway up now, "Tiz behind us, and breakfast is on the way, with the work of our fantastic cook."

"Well, you guys have such amazing food to work with." Mira giggled as she started flipping some vegetables in a pan. "So, I was wondering something." She looked over to the Reverts siblings, "Could we... Not go exploring another dimension?"

"Not explore?" Artison looked at her a bit baffled, "But I found an interesting world we could find some amazing research on." He gestured to the door out of the kitchen, "I had spent all night packing things for the expedition."

"I... I know, Artison, but what if we just waited a day and took a break from it?"

"You mean just work on a couple of inventions?"

"She's talking about some actual time to relax, Arty." Loretta spoke up, "We have enough money for a while thanks to your inventions."

"You agree with her?" Artison looked at Loretta baffled, "What would we even do?"


Mira giggled as she put the vegetables on a plate and walked over, "Well, How about you show me more of this world?" She set the plates down and sat beside Artison, "All I’ve seen, since I came here, has been places around the market and this home up on the spires. I'd like to see more. Where do people get the pieces to make these towers? How is food grown with such little space? And I don't just want to hear the answer, I'd like to see how these things are possible."

Loretta looked at Mira and started to smile, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Journeying between the towers, just to see what is there. It'd be fantastic for you both to take a breather from this. If not to visit familiar places, but also somewhere safe for a time."

"But the new world..." Artison said, trying not to whine, but failed.

"No no, Mira is right." Loretta said, "Take the day off, and just... Enjoy Terra for the day."

Artison looked between the two women, and then sighed and bowed his head, "Alright, I suppose we could take a walk around-" Artison didn't get a chance to finish.

Mira had squealed in excitement as she hugged Artison, "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Artison!"

Awwwww, I wanted to see the new world! oh well, I guess we can see more of this world then.
