I never saw the movie, but isn't she a librarian, or teacher?
Either way she would be a distraction when the students should be studying.
Unless they are studying biology.

Sylvia was the college librarian who falls for Goofy. In the cinematic tradition of librarians, she becomes a head-turning hottie once she steps out of the room with all the books. At the end of the movie, she's set to be the new Mrs. Goof.
