Zaratheus, son of Azarathealis.
After the First Age, after the Egyptian era, ancient Greece was formed, sprawling its cityscapes and pantheons over the world to see.
Azarathealis, Egyptian god of Calamity, ruler of the upper plane, his iron fist that turned the aethereal world into a tyrannical empire. He noticed the lower plane below him turn from sandstone to marble, and saw that the world had passed a new beginning in time. And with malicious intent, he shall remind this era to whom it belongs. But he wasn't doing it himself. He needed an heir. It was his son who continued on the legacy.
Zaratheus.
A colossal hyenaid figure who, unlike his father, sprawled out angelic wings, a golden halo, and donned Greek clothing - Fitting to match the era of his time.
Azarathealis was proud to see his son becoming an unstoppable force during his training. He grew larger than even the strongest gods who resided in the upper plane - His father was content to see that his legacy will continue in good hands. With a sinister grin on his face, tearing open a connection between the upper plane and the mortal grounds, Azarathealis commanded him to take over the mortal plane once and for all, and spread his empire over it - Where Zaratheus will be crowned a God.
"You are ready. Go forth, Zaratheus, and show them their new god."
It was only a matter of seconds before the world below spiraled into chaos.
A fantastic commission by
that expands a little bit on the lore dump I'm still working on for my characters. I've also played way too much Hades, honestly.
