This was my first reference sheet for my fursona, and it's interesting looking back at this version of me compared to my fursona now. The lack of paw pads is really funny to me considering how much I enjoy paw pads and paw worship now. But I also now no longer have wings at all; I'm no longer a shapeshifter (I only used that as an excuse to swap genders); and I have both boobs and a dick now, instead of flip-flopping between the two. I have hair now (and brown eyes to match), I'm exclusively in plantigrade form (and I think it was here that I stopped drawing mostly digitigrade characters), and I lean a lot more into smelling like lavender (and vanilla) now. Also the underwear here feels a bit silly now.

This reference sheet is also almost certainly why several commissions and fanart I've gotten have a yellow-orange color as a background color for my sona. I was never able to think of a better color to make my sona pop and I don't think many others did either.

I still adore the chibi versions of me in this ref sheet ^w^
