In September 2020, Mae Le Tourneur (RIP) had brain surgery upcoming and was reasonably nervous about it; I drew a picture to help lighten her mood that was so terrible in quality that I would never post it. But it's important to preserve Mae's legacy, so here is an almost 1:1 redraw, done 4 years later.
The joke was that Mae could have gotten psychic superpowers from the surgery, so I began drawing her in a superhero costume — but, true to my passion, I dressed her more like a magical girl.
