I'm not exactly sure about the head area, but I like this picture. It looks tasteful so I don't know what kinda comments you got.

Actually, I got a lot of 'what is going on with the head' comments. At this point in time (read: the beginning of this school year) I was experimenting with ways I could twist the human form, so I elongated the neck rediculously and had the face turned away. I did this because I wanted the focus to be on the body, and so often people focus on faces if there is a face to look at.

People also asked if there were two people, upon which I asked if they saw two people and if they did I told them then in that case, there are two people. I only see one, so to me there is only one, but to you ther are two.

Ah, yeah I can see the face now under that hair. I saw one body at first glance. After looking at it for a few minutes it made me wonder if there were two. Kind of like a male form behind the female.

Yep. It wasn't my original intention, but it opens it up to more interpretations, and I like that.
