In my head I like to think it’s like a big pump shoved up their rump while 2 compressors push on either side of their body, of course since they swallowed the gum that makes it more difficult and they might just be stuck like that forever

Well, the 2005 version, Violeta manages to come out of her inflated blueberry state, which means that she did not swallow the gum, but that anyway the consequences became clear, she lost all the bones in her body.

Oh no I was just saying my character swallowed the gum in the scenario, also I think they were trying to suggest that she didn’t lose her bones at the end but that she got so stretched out when she inflated that when she deflated she became super stretchy

Hmm... Yeah, that could have been a valid reason to explain why Violet became more flexible at the end of the movie, although well... she didn't end up AS flexible as Mike Teevee.

I think that was because Mike was stretched from small to big which made him all thin and flat, and that’s why he’s more flexible, while violet was changed from her big self to her regular self after being squeezed making her not as flexible but still flexible

Well, you're right about that, although what they do share in common is that they both no longer have their normal bone system.

Fair I will say that, because to stretch out as big as she did her arms and legs had to be pulled out with her growing body, creating that starfish look
