So I am a fan of the artist's work and Fu-zi is kind of my favorite character that reminds me of Moriko, but Fu-zi is stronger and wilder than her.
I think how they met would be at a market when Moriko gets lost and meets Fu-zi, although there is a language barrier ( Moriko only speaks in Elven) they become friends through gestures and getting into mischief. Moriko would share the special fruit she has that gets you high thinking you understand the universe!
