Long ago, she took semi-permanent damage in a house fire when protecting her daughter Lilli when Lilli was still a child.
There's still hope for recovery for her eyes, yet the chances are very slim and she's already undergone many expensive surgeries and treatments to no avail.
Still running her flower shop which is much beloved by the community, she supports her daughter's endeavors in the best wholesome ways possible of being a caring mom.
She's afraid of her daughter pushing herself too hard with needing to study and win, and whilst helping her and their shop at the same time. Trauma perhaps? Or maybe, regret?
