When someone first sees an elephant, a whale, or other such creature that is larger and more powerful than they are, fear is a common reaction. It's not a matter of if you will choose fight or flight, but rather what you will do once you are safe and the danger is passed. Will you allow that fear to rule over you, or will you press forward in spite of that fear?
