I debated whether or not I wanted to post this a page at a time or all at once. As you can probobly guess, I picked the second option. Largely because I do better working in a void. If I announce that I'm working on a project, then I feel like it sets people's expectations to, y'know... see progress. Then I get self-conscious and overwhelmed and often end up never finishing the project at all. I know this stuff is all in my head, but it doesn't stop it from happening anyway.
I'm glad I actually finished this comic, but oh man... am I out of practice! Backgrounds, character models, color? Get outta here with that nonsense! In all seriousness, though, I hate drawing backgrounds. I don't have the patience for it and, at least with how I draw, I think they just get in the way a lot of the time. You'll see in the next few pages that I kept backgrounds to a minimum. I don't particularly like coloring, but I honestly would have liked to color this. I didn't for a couple reasons. For one, this comic was only supposed to be, like, 6 pages and it grew to 10. It probably would've taken me another month to color it and I wanted to be done. For another, I've been messing with Kath's design for a long time and I got her to point I'm ok with, but I never was able to decide on colors for her. Leading to my final point and then I'll be done.
I kinda didn't realize just how bad I am at keeping on model, even for my own characters. I draw Cory a lot, so they're not too bad, but Kath is kinda all over the place, which I'm not too happy about. Overall, it's not horrible, but that is something I definitely need to work on. Anyway, enough of all this. I'll get to actually talking about each page now. If you actually read all this, thanks for sticking through all my ramblings~
