Artwork of my two Ordovician critters, Dee the trilobite and Xero the sea scorpion!
While searching unsuccessfully for a mate, Dee stumbled across an enormous, gluttonous sea scorpion named Xero. Despite the danger that these predators normally posed to small trilobites, for Dee, it was love at first sight.
As for Xero, he didn’t fully understand what this strange little trilobite wanted, but he was too lazy to care.
