Superheroing isn't a great paying job. Some weeks you barely make enough to survive. Mighty Mare pushes herself to limit and tries to squeeze in those precious moments of relaxation and recharge.

While watching some late night TV, she passes out - like we all have. Lulled to sleep by the bright glow and soft hum of her 20 year old CRT television, balanced precariously on an opened packaging box. It's not a pretty apartment, but it's enough for Mighty Mare as she catches some precious sleep before another day of heroing.

Tried my hand today at actually drawing a background. It's a great start, and I look forward to growing more in drawing backgrounds that follow perspective.

I also enjoyed drawing a dark room and trying to simulate coloured lighting. Not sure if I nailed it, but I'm happy switching it up to something new.

I cheated with drawing hands again. Gotta face my fears and conquer that challenge!
