There was not way I could do the monolouge without it being goofy, so I decided just to roll with it. This sounds in my head like a Owlor comic written by Frank miller, which is an entertainingly bizarre idea. We'll see how far I manage to go without including whores...
Anyway, I am pretty sure noone has any idea what's going on here, you'll be a bit confused, don't worry about it. I'll explain a bit more what all this is about in the next comic.
But what the matter is is the citys subway system, there's only one line between the west and east side of the city, and it is way overtrafficked. (this was inspired by a real problem a city's had that I watched a news segment about).
Trolock is using a device to put up a wall here (noscencical sci-fi technology, weee) though it kinda just looks like an odd vacuum cleaner. She's kinda Obsessive-complsive by necessity, she's ultimately responsible for everything in the city running smoothly.
She uses her office as sort of a testing ground, it's only very roughly modelled after the city, in a way that makes sens to her and helps her think (if the office looks a bit sparse is that I got burned out on details after drawing the city.)
Hence why she's installin the wall, the subway is a metaphorical invisible wall with only one door in th city at large, so she needs a literal invisible wall with a door in it in her office to help her focus her thoughts about solving it.
Look, this is a bit of a narrative experiment on my part, you might want to just ignore it, or at least wait 'til I've finnished a couple more so there's more context here, and less confusion.
