Is everything really traditional art? No digital?
I keep a hammer next to the printer in case it gets uppity. I am not a computer artist whatsoever. I was, once. It's not something I plan on getting reacquainted with anytime in the near future.

When do you ask for payment?
I tend not to ask for payment upfront, but instead will provide you with a preliminary sketch of the composition prior to beginning the inks step. Upon greenlighting to continue, I will request payment. There's no undo button once ink hits paper, after all!

Will you accept other currencies? What about trades?
I accept any real currency that my U.S. bank or Paypal will accept. I even accept checks. I do not accept cryptocurrencies. I will accept art trades on occasion! Especially if you're a friend. :3

How much do you charge for backgrounds?
I tend to make the geometric shape or basic color gradients available for free, as they really brighten a piece up. Anything more complicated than that very much depends on the complexity, spanning from free all the way to the price of another OC's worth of time and labor.

Can I request that my piece be kept private / unpublished?
You certainly can. Because I rely a lot on displaying my artwork to stay relevant enough, I will ask for a small fee to keep things secure. I maintain good enough INFOSEC discipline to keep things under lock and key. Scout's honor.

Can I post the art once it's done?
Post away! Tag me, please.
When it's finished, the art piece becomes your property, unless you intend me to keep the original. I reserve the right to still use the digital image for whatever purposes I see fit, since I drew the thing. I'll try to contact you if I sell prints or otherwise monetize the artwork in a way that actually makes anything significant.
Whatever the case may be, unless specified, expect the completed piece to be scanned and uploaded here and on my Bluesky. And shared around on Telegram art groups I'm involved in.

What NSFW kinks won't you draw?
DM me for further clarification if you're worried. I won't judge, complain, snitch or do anything more than shrug: Asking is not a crime. I will however reserve the right to decline the job for whatever reason I see fit. Even after payment, if sufficient friction arises. I haven't faced any problems in nearly 20 years of drawing however, so I'll play by ear.

Do you do comics?
I would absolutely love to. I insist we keep in touch through a messenger service to ensure complete satisfaction with the end product, as well as future printing options I plan to offer.

What's this about mailing service?
I have in the past mailed originals to commissioners, both in a secure mailer as well as fully framed. I've mailed packages to literal warzones in Eastern Europe successfully before, and chances are I can get you your picture nearly anywhere that won't interfere with a package coming from the U.S.
I do require a small fee to cover postage, frame cost, and whatnot. I can provide receipts for such services in case you're pennypinchy, which I can understand.
