The pink ears reminded me of one (or simultaneously both) of the Kidsongs TV Show Mascot’s, I can never remember those names but I have a feeling they contributed to the development of the furry community due to their excellent design and color combination at the time [I should say considering at the time] of other similar mascot’s that weren’t even close to as good, hey they might even serve as a good reference for a character design due to their form and size. Though the ears were very large in the Mascot of kidsongs tv show. I only remember it bc I had a DVD featuring them, unfortunately it’s all scratched up, so it doesn’t work very well, and I can’t really see that well sooo yeah.

Oh, I never saw that series, or at least it doesn't ring a bell with that name, maybe because of the difference in region, I think I'll see it soon

It was really popular in the late 80’s & early 90’s. The main characters were Billy (the blue one, usually on the left) and Ruby (the pink one, usually on the right). Though it’s complicated as to whether the show was a success bc their youtube channel is still active (though I believe the company that started them, actually got really lucky, if you want to talk politics.) if you want to know about it here’s their youtube channel:
