Another Ratcula piece.
Unlike what history books tend to say, King Basil was not killed in battle against Count Ratcula. Basil was tricked and captured by the witch Morgana, who is bitter that he had called off their engagement (he learned that she dabbled in black magic). Ultimately he was thrown into a fiery pit so Morgana could summon Ratcula from Hell.
But wait- you ask. This happened 200 years before the story starts. This can't be the same Morgana that is Princess Anna's stepmother. Yes. Yes she is. (:<
