The more we draw commissions (and we've been doing this for 12 years), the more pointless any systematic pricelists seem to us. Our last option with hourly payment was decent, but it also has limitations and, overall, turned out to be not quite what we needed.

Therefore, we want to get rid of all previous rules and see what comes of it.
We are opening three slots (for now; maybe we'll open more later) for pay what you want commissions.

• You pay exactly as much as you think is necessary.
• You can pay at the beginning; after approving the sketch; split the payment into parts; or pay at the end after completion.

We will do:
• Different types of character art for all kinds of characters (humans and human-like characters, furry and anthro, fantasy, sci-fi, real-life and fictional species, etc.). Anything from a portrait to a multi-figured scene.
• Not character-centered artworks: backgrounds, cover illustrations, item art, and other.
• Realistic, semi-realistic and stylized look.
• NSFW artworks: we are okay with nudity, sexually explicit scenes, mild violence/gore (please visit our second page for examples).

We won’t do:
• Oversimplified, cartoonish styles as a main artwork style.
• Ordinary modern scenes and environments (apartments, offices, city streets, etc.) — anything that feels particularly "regular".

We like to show characters' personalities and conveying ideas via visual language: textures, patterns, brushwork, effects, symbols, meaningful objects.
Some things about your character you might want to include in the commission description:
• Personality, notable traits, mood; creed, passion, purpose
• Abilities, profession, hobbies; type of magic they use; element they have affinity for
• Objects that represent the character in some way (some ideas: favorite flower, spirit animal, item that symbolizes their culture/group/important event in their life)
• Aesthetics, vibe, inspirational images

Particularly interested in:
• Characters that are... a bit more than just characters. The ones that have lives of their own, will of their own, the ones that breathe and even communicate. We know how to work with those.
• Rare or unusual species (we can think of insects and other invertebrates; surprise us)
• Characters with intricate designs
• Interesting textures: iridescent, translucent, metallic, glowing; very smooth or very rough; fuzzy, wet, glossy, sparkly, etc.
