I was a roo for a long time, but eventually, I decided to quit. I never really fit the expectations that this fandom has for kangaroos, and it started to feel like I was forcing something that wasn’t natural for me. So, I ended up abandoning that fursona. Despite this, I still have a drawing of him that I made while waiting for confirmation on commissions.

I mean, nobody is saying your persona/fursona only can be one species. *points to his EricSkunk * he's me. He's usually a skunk but sometimes he is another gender or another species. Each feel like me to some degree. Maybe that can help you out some to think on?
