The reason of existance of this post is; I wanted to show what artists and some of their artwork have influenced/guided me to become an artist myself, they are the reference of quality I wish to achieve one day! ^^
First of all, is this are not a competetive "tier maker" kind of ranking, every all of them were influenced me in one way or an other to become the person and artist I am today.
We being back in time in 2014 when I was a 15 years old kid.
But let's start with the one I first discovered in 2014! It's
Gryf himself, who introduced me to the whole furry fandom as a kid. His artwork and videos were the first things I saw when I discovered the furry fandom. His videos were the ones that had the biggest impact on me. He showed me what I was, something I hadn't been able to realise before. I was different from the beginning of my life, I just had no idea why I was different from other kids. It was because I was a snake otherkin all along. I always have been and forever will be! I never talked to Gryf, ever. Even if Gryf has no idea that he passively changed my life (even if it sounds honeysuckle and too sweet), I'm more than happy and glad he introduced me to Tfs and *her*. I wish to be an expert 3d artist like he is, and one day come up with my own tf video based upon his. One day I will achieve this dream of me.
SepiSnake Right after Gryf and his videos I started to look up for more snake related content shortly, and Sepisnake himself from the old Deviantart webpage pop up the first for me with his old Cobra cola series. A lot of his old artworks, the Deep sea changes and some of his mermaid artwork, the cobra cola series, or his own blue naga character and several others, are a forever classic and loved piece of art for me, and forever will be! His art style, the characters and their look took my attention and became the reference what I wish to "Copy" as an art stlye one day. I wish to be such a talented artist he is! His artwork were the one that inspired me to make my own character as it is!

royalty In the first place, his art style, the way he draw Nagas are the reason hes being mentioned here. The art style he draw them is so beautifull! I love the semi toony yet realistic look of his Nagas he draw! A lot of his artwork is a forever classic and favorite to me! <3
Solena Her Naga character is such an iconic and loved character to me, I love all of her pics Royalty and other people have made for her. She is such a beautifull wholesome Naga!

In the last, here are 2 more very iconic and loved piece of art that Influenced me so badly back then:
The Emys crocodile taur, Back in the day when I discovered these two drawing I already been into reptile things and the furry fandom as a whole but just as a closet furry, never interacted with other furries before, ever. I always been a Naga but man, the exotic and special look of this crocodile taur truly took my attention, that's how I discovered taurs in the first place and been impressed by them! ^^ I used to be an anthro or taur crocodile back then based upon this character (And some others)
The Kirisha raptor, as I said, by this time I was very much into reptiles, and the anthro raptors were no exception too.
Unfortunately the Crocodile and Raptor side of me never developed into that complex and deep as my Snake and Aquatic side did is because I never had anyone to share these thoughts with. I tried to seek for, but never meet anyone who were been like me.

I am depply passionate towards reptiles and forever will be! I love them as they are, they are beautifull on their own! I care exclusively only about SFW content is because the character itself, the personality, the story and their look is far more important than anything, because I am capable of loving them for who they are!
So briefly these artists and some of their artworks are the main reason who and what am I today, how do I look like and what I wish to achieve one day! Even if this sounds honeysuckle and too sweet to be true, and many people may call me out for it, but these people are truly my childhood heroes, the ones I respect and fear the most. They changed my life and guided me even if they don't know me and never talked to.
Some people rightly tell me not to be afraid of messaging, but here's the thing. It happened to me before, I messaged an artist I deeply respected turned out to be 180 degrees what I expected and it broke my heart to pieces. So the "Ignorance is bliss" I must love them from a distance rather than risk being disappointed again in a childhood hero of me.
