Nqali is from the world of my webcomic, the Satyrica Andromedae, but is pretty far from the comic's action– while the comic is mostly concerned with the affairs of a kingdom that's closer to the Iron Ages than the modern day, Nqali is firmly in the galaxy's more developed corner, working as a linguistics researcher and living in a multispecies city on Exorot, a terraformed world that serves as the capital of much of the galaxy.
As a humanities student, I'm interested in figuring out how the humanities might work in a context where different species from different worlds have converged and spent centuries interacting. I think that Nqali's species is also an interesting change in pace from most of the species in this universe, who mostly have humanoid body plans.

This is an interesting lore for this character you've just created. In my opinion, Languages aren't only for communication but also makes unique for culture. It may be difficult to interact with different species but there's always have in common for them to have willingness to understand. Great work.
