Decades - Chapter Seven
This is the story of two furs as they go through their lives together, a decade at a time. It's a project I've been working on for a while now, in my head and on paper, and I'm so glad to be posting it for the furry public to see at long last. I can't remember the last time I ever invested so much emotionally in a series.
I really hope that you'll give it a read, and follow these two in their life together from start to finish. Hopefully it'll reward you at least a fraction as much as writing it has rewarded me.
The characters of John and Samantha were created by me,
Jeevestheroo, and should not be used without permission.

This was a very, very, very good chapter, Jeeves. The fear that these two furs are going through in their old age, all their worries about death, about what, if anything, comes after it, the thought of not being together... it was both terrifying, heartbreaking and rather comforting at the same time.
As someone who is just going through a major bout of clinical depression, I have many of the same fears and issues plaguing my mind and I could truly identify with Samantha's state of mind. Although I'm only 23 and will probably never have a romantic love of my life, my parents and siblings represent just as strong a bond as the one between these two furs, and having such fears tormenting you while still thinking about your loved ones... it's unbearable.
To have these kind of issues written about so eloquently is a true achievement on your part. John's comforting words remind me a little of the help I've received from my parents through this difficult time, and it makes me admire him (and your skill in writing him) all the more. It feels good to know that you could write it in a way that I, and many other people I'm sure, can relate to.
Truly great work, Jeeves. You really should be proud of this series.
