I really tried my best to emulate the aesthetic that the fairly known band Modest Mouse pulled off in most all of their songs.
On it's own, it's one of my highest quality pieces, and that's saying something for my first dip into this kind of music.
(EDIT: Just as a heads up, I'd love to see if someone can write and sing some vocals for this song that match the style, it's great on it's own, but a good voice could really lend a lot to it!)
