I was talking with Bose about art one night and commented that I was figuring out what to draw. Bose offhandedly suggested drawing his eponymous character.

The reference I was using had a baseball bat. At some point in blocking out the shapes, it looked more like a big piece of bread. It seemed like a fitting thing for Bose to wield so I kept it that way. ^^;
