Another speedpaint. The fire looks like crap. PLEASE, CRITIQUE THE FIRE. This was done in about a half hour. It was probably done so quickly because the fire looks HORRIBLE. Oh well.

As far as the fire goes, it looks more like lava rushing than fire. Fire has this whippey cordyness and doesn't really follow a constant shape.

Also, the pokemon itself is a little bit blurry and would do better with more refined edges and markings, otherwise its a tiny bit difficult to look at, but you drew his wings very well!

That picture you linked to actually helps a lot. One of the main things I have trouble with is fire, just because of how it has no defined shape. I'll go back and rework this picture as a "finished" piece. Again, thanks so much for the critique!

I think a lot of users on this site avoid critique because its usually looked upon so very NEGATIVELY, even by those that specifically ask for it! I've seriously seen the most sincere, gentle of critiques responded with "Get the fuck away from me troll, you're blocked now." and that would be to a comment like "I love this picture! You draw torsos and hands like a professional! But I think her head is a little bit too big for her shoulders.." Thankfully, I don't really care if I'm blocked by people so I tend to do drive-by critiques anyway haha XD Its so nice to see someone like you that takes critique to heart though and responds to them so nicely!
