Perhaps not the best, as you said. To be honest, I did prefer this one in black and white, because it let the details stand out more. However, still not bad.

Naw, I agree, there are some things I learned from this and I think next time, it will be a big improvement.

Personally, I like the colored one better, since more things seemed to pop, though that may be because my brain works better with color for shape delineations at times...

I did have to look at the original to notice that it wasn't a tiny blue furson that got buried by the sand, but a flag. I thought the two dots were draconic nostrils, and the point on the flag its long tail.

This is one coloring project that might have benefited from a CG coloring as opposed to marker and pencil. I find it easier to match colors, I just need work on my shading and highlights ^^.

I'm in no way saying that I could ever do it better, merely a medium/artistic choice.

Naw I agree honestly. I learned a bit from this one. I was trying to go with more detail but did not work. But I have a few ideas of how to fix that next time.

Heh one of the reasons my commissions are not fully open. I am trying to make leaps and bounds in progress. This was a stepping stone. ^.^
