"We'll deal with your mental aberrations later."
I think this is my best human drawing...ever. I rarely even draw humans, animals and anthros are just more fun for me, but my Dark Shadows obsession is still in full swing and...this happened. For those of you who have never seen this classic show (and shame on you :p) these are my two fav characters: Barnabas Collins & Willie Loomis. If it wasn't obvious, Barnabas is a vampire (mind you this show was on in the 60's, Twi has NOTHIN' on it!) Willie is the one who releases him and thus becomes his slave. He rubs his neck a lot when he's worried, and that wolf cane is also a beating stick so it's no wonder he looks nervous. They eventually form a strained friendship, and I have always loved that relationship and how it develops. The show was on for like, 5 years so there was time for some epic characters and thousands of storylines, including parallel universes. LMAO. Seriously, go watch it damnit!
"I have to protect him, I can't help it!"
PS: There is a newer version of the series that came out in the 90's, and that kind of failed. Nothing can compare to the original from the 60's, even with it's lack of special effects. That's not the most important thing in a story, far from it! I am looking forward to Tim Burton's new movie take on this series, though! Love his stuff, so I think he might do it justice.
