Years ago, snoutless was talking about how their OC named Lu has this really awesome mom.
Lucia runs a bar and is super cool for helping support her daughter's Fighting Academy progress. The mom's a pretty dominant character as a counter-part to Lu's while still maintaining that whole 'fighting-spirit, oh yeah we can totally fight, pal' personality the two share. Just in this case Lu's mom mostly has to deal with stupid drunks and migraines on the daily so when she can let loose and enjoy herself she does to the fullest. Pokemon might be dumb at times but as long as they're still paying for their drinks and not scaring the other folk off she doesn't care.
