You're looking too far into it. In Izak's world dragons live side-by-side with other sentient bipedal beings and gryphons. One of Isak's bipedal characters has a dragon wifey. :)

Ya. I like it when someone breaks from the tedium of standard fantasy. It gets kind of old after a while when it's always the dragon that's the baddy. Isak has drawn some scene's of random citizens/civilians just doing whatever and the environment was a mix of renaissance/medieval and modern technology which was fun. Almost like if we stuck to our European/English roots in the days of King Arthur as far as our living environment went. But we still managed to invent the internet and cell phones. :)

Sort of bio Shock Infinite without the creepiness and murdery death cults. I know it's 1950's-ish style but still. I get what you mean. I try to do the same but at times I will go back to the dragon being the bad guy, but I do my best to give them a good reason to be so, as if a dragon is to be the baddy, they must be the best baddy there ever was, and must be understandable as well as relatable I think. I've seen the art, little hard for me to wrap my head around, but I love looking at it, it's really cool.
