Before video games I've play a game call Labyrinth a physical skill consisting of a box with a maze on top with holes, and a steel marble. The goal of the game is to try to tilt the playfield to guide the marble to the end of the maze without letting it fall into any of the holes.

It is totally cheating to make the ball hop over walls! I think I've only ever legit gotten to the thirties once.

I had one of these, as a child who liked to see machines and such work it fascinated me to watch the maze move about as you turned the knobs. Sure I liked the game but really was like "Such a smart way of getting 2 dimensional movement using 3 dimensional adjustments!"

Good memories, I had a newer one of these when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite toys for sure. The maze it was built with was extremely hard, but it came with two extra boards you could fit into it over the top of the main one that were easier and helped you practice
