For Fossilized-honey on art fight
My first attack this year event

I was inspired by kingdom hearts and final fantasy 9 for style I used mostly FF9 influences for the bg in the concept art there no strait lines in the buildings winch really adds to the style I tried my best to replicate that into the bg. the character had vivi vibes and I thought it be a fun design to work with to fit the more stylized worlds that were my inspiration (KH FF9).

I also took note of the ghost in one of there refs and played with that idea a bit
I imagine seeing the town overrun by ghost made them sad or something
(but the real reason I added tears was I forgot to save ;n; I had to redraw them again from the beginning...)
