Now, instead of trying to help her husband by herself, Dione exclaims with fear: "Coeus, do something!", which he indeed does, thinking quickly and throwing his axe at the Kludde, hitting its back, which... at least makes it get off Charon now. Though now it's angrily looking at the male anthro moth. Coeus realizes that yet another one of them has to stay behind for the rest of them to progress further. So he tells the other three: "Dione... Charon... Higeki... get away with the boat while I... buy you a few more seconds of time. Don't hesitate, you know how much is at stake." "Wait, Coeus, no." "DON'T HESITATE!", he emphasize, "Get moving... right away... I'll die either way, whether it's by this creature or by the erasure of this universe. So get going already!" Even though it obviously hurts to leave her best friend Coeus to die, Dione knows that just like he said, ultimately they'll all be dead and gone anyway, and it's her who has to reach the planet's core and find out needed information there, all just for the sake of the one universe Cronus will spare for the sake of eventually fully controlling it. So she gives Coeus a sadness-filled nod before she, Charon and Higeki get in the boat, with Charon of course being the one to steer it as the ride through the water within Planet Asofhertz begins. They try not to look back while Coeus gets slaughtered by the Kludde, just for them to have enough time to get away. Thankfully the Kludde isn't following them through the water.

With how strange space and time are here, the group of now three continues getting closer to the planet's core, even if it's not even in sight yet, all despite them not seeming to go downwards while on the river at all. The water on this river behaves much like during a storm, so Charon's experience with boat riding is definitely needed here, all while Dione and Higeki just have to hold on to not fall off the boat. If only the moths among them could fly, then drowning would be much less of a worry here, but that Kludde encounter left their wings injured, so they all have to stay on the boat.
Though the waves don't remain the only trouble, with undead dolphin skeletons in the water beginning to jump over the boat as attempts of pushing any members of the group off there. Higeki ends up getting pushed in the water that way, as Dione screams: "Higeki, no!", but Charon quickly stops Dione from trying to help her, knowing that this would not end well for Dione within this stormy water environment, so the robot moth has to be left behind as well. At least that keeps the undead dolphin skeletons busy for a bit.
But it seems like the rough conditions of the water do take a toll on the boat. And to make matters worse, they can see an enormous shark-like creature swimming towards them, easily faster than their boat is too. "Oh come on...", Charon doesn't like how things are going. The boat does expectedly break apart not much later, causing Dione and Charon to end up in the water, with the gigantic shark almost there to reach them. However... much to their surprise, the giant shark dives briefly and comes back up in a way that Dione and Charon end up on its back, as it then swims in the direction they were headed too. Charon exclaims with relief: "Yay, an ally!" Seems like it understands at least that Dione and Charon want to get to the planet's core at the end of this underground river and doesn't consider them its food. So after a time of uncertain length (given the warped time perception of Planet Asofhertz), they reach the end of the river at peculiar looking rock formations.
(Now playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZYIuaz980w)
There, the married couple gets off their temporary helper and Dione tells it: "Thank you...", even if it probably doesn't understand English. The gigantic shark just... stays there, seemingly being able to sense that the end of this universe is near at this point, so there is no reason to swim anywhere else anymore. The planet's core is now in sight... looking like a giant sphere, glowing white in a rather beautiful looking manner. It's just right across a rocky plane that shouldn't be too difficult to get across. So the two characters begin their final steps towards what they hope to give them what they need once they reach the point where all the spacetime warping of this planet is coming from thanks to the core's weird kind of radiation. I mean, the fact that they need to walk towards it while it's not just pulling them to itself due to gravity is already quite a big anomaly this is causing.
But of course, with them being this close to the core now, the effects the core has on its vicinity are so much more noticable, not just because parts of the ground here are glitching much like the cave walls earlier, making them obviously have to avoid stepping on those parts. The two of them also see many glimpses of their other lives here, almost like there's cracks in reality to allow seeing that at this time and at this place. That's also how Charon sees how many of his other lives have him never get together with Dione. So many versions of himself who never got to know what it's like to be loved back by someone they love. If only he could give them that experience, give them the memories he made with his wife, just so they get to experience how wonderful it is to be with her. Charon thinks some. He realizes that this might even be literally possible, considering how strangely reality is behaving here. The approach towards the planet's core continues.
As they continue to approach the core, Dione also gets to really see through the cracks in spacetime here, how much her life seems to be painted with tragedy, how much more frequently things go badly for her in any of her lives. But... all that suffering doesn't matter anymore now, when there's something so much bigger than her going on. None of the bad stuff matters right now... Her being right here right now, that's what matters.

Finally, Charon and Dione reach the core of Planet Asofhertz. It's surprisingly cool temperature-wise, just adding to how much of an anomaly this planet is. Charon hesitatingly touches it, then remarking: "It feels... alive?..."
The erasure of their universe has begun, there is not much time left at all with how quickly it's happening. Charon and Dione can feel it from the sense of doom looming over them now.
Dione isn't wasting any time and just accepts the apparent aliveness of the planet's core, asking: "Planet Asofhertz... tell me... what do I have to do?" In response, Dione seems to be getting visions at a rapid pace, after which she can tell: "... Sheol... The other version of me at the Edge of Reality... needs to go to Sheol. Asofhertz, or just the core of you, I don't really know how aliveness of a planet works... can you make it possible for the Dione at the Edge of Reality? I just... hope that with how much of an anomaly reality is at this place, this could be possible." Charon simply watches, seeing his wife fulfill her incredibly important role, as she gets a few more rapid visions, this doomed Dione now knowing the answer: "The core... can in fact make it possible... but only if the other Dione knows of the place. But... I have a feeling she is getting any information I get here. This is one of her lives after all."
(Now playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOkdvLkIp0g)
"So... that's it?", Charon then wonders, "Just waiting for our demise now?" "Pretty much.", the female anthro moth affirms as the erasure of their universe is quickly approaching Planet Asofhertz. There's probably less than a minute left at this point. So Charon and Dione say their goodbyes to each other, telling each other how much it meant to them to be able to spend it with each other, how little they regret marrying each other and their fighting for being able to have a child together. Though after that, Charon then asks the core: "Hey, uhh... Asofhertz, can you... transfer my memories to the version of me living in whatever universe Cronus ends up not destroying? Just so that... those memories could live on and so that... that version of me will know how wonderful my life with Dione was... even if it'll hurt to realize how it will only ever be memories to that other Charon and never be part of his present... I think it... I think it is better to experience it once and lose it than to never get to experience it at all. And memories are a way of experiencing, that's how I think about it." The core doesn't answer, no visions like with Dione either. It most certainly heard him though.
The married couple sees the erasure of their universe being about to reach them. They hold each other's paws as they wait for it to erase them too. And seconds later, their universe is gone... just like every other universe of the multiverse, all except the one Cronus intends to gain full control over at some later point in time. The multiverse is no more.

At the Edge of Reality, a gateway of some kind appears in front of Dione. Persephone just stands there in disbelief, allowing Dione to simply go through it. By the time Persephone realizes she has to stop Dione so that Cronus can truly not be stopped anymore, it's already too late, as neither Persephone nor the magicians for that matter can follow Dione there. Sheol is a place only the dead can even enter after all.
Sheol is a rather dark place, but with how many will-o'-wisps are floating around here, Dione can still see her path, and walks it with the important goal in mind. Nothing is gonna stop her anymore now. This is what her life truly lead up to. This is what all her lives lead up to. Infinite lives. Infinite deaths. Culminating in her being right here right now. The end is not approaching her, she is approaching the end, and that end is a new beginning for the hope she can give the people in the universe she originally came from.
Dione finds candles set up in a circle. Almost as if instinctively, she goes to stand in the middle of it. She feels connected to the universe she knows and then tries to reach out to Coeus.

In the only universe that's left, the anomaly universe where Cronus was not successfully defeated by Lucy, Coeus is in his lab, sitting at a machine of some kind. Pallas is there too, telling him: "Coeus, you need to move on... even though it's hard, life will go on." Coeus replies to that though: "She's my best friend, Pallas... Do you think I just built this machine there because I felt like it? I mean, I know you don't think that, but... You know its use is to try communicating with her after her death, I just... could never reach her with it. I guess... being the most intelligent person in the universe doesn't make me capable of everything after all..." Pallas comfortingly rubs the hyper-intelligent moth's back.
Suddenly, the machine picks up on something. Pallas is surprised while Coeus immediately pushes the needed buttons to focus in on the signal it got. And then, out of the speaker, he and Pallas can indeed hear Dione's voice talking to them from Sheol...

"I know you've missed me, but... there is something really important going on right now. It's about Cronus... Poseidon made sure I'd learn that... there is still something that can be done, one true final chance." "Dione, I missed you so much...", Coeus just responds in tears, though Dione remains focused considering the high stakes: "Coeus, listen. The way to have a chance against Cronus is not about the people who could initially lock him away before he was released again by Team Infamy, it's not about Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and whoever the fourth one was... but instead it's about the "weapons" they carried. That's what people need, getting in posession of four special weapons that are making a battle against Cronus at least a little bit possible to survive. Those are, keep listening closely... the Adamantine Sickle, the Thunderbolts like the ones Zeus has, the Trident and the Cap of Invisibility. What is also needed are... the Cyclopes named Brontes, Steropes and Arges, to forge such titan-worthy weapons, because the weapons would have to be made again from scratch to be assigned to someone new. Two of those cyclopes... specifically Steropes and Arges, they have been locked away by bad guys though while Brontes is currently hiding his identity. You got all that?... Team Infamy couldn't be stopped releasing Cronus... Lucy the half demon couldn't defeat Cronus... THIS is our true last chance."
(Now playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iah5iDXsmLE)
Coeus is still crying though, telling her: "I got it all, yes... this machine also records it all and Pallas heard it too... b-but Dione... I miss you... I miss you so much... Please... Please stay in contact with me like this... I don't wanna lose you for good... It already hurt like hell to pull the plug just to... end the suffering... I-I don't want to lose this chance to still talk to you, Dione..." "Oh Coeus...", Dione understands but still tells him: "I'm sorry, but... life has to go on. I have found peace now that my purpose has been fulfilled, you just need to... let me go." "I can't let you go, Dione!", he says with desperation and pain, "N-Not again... Please... stay in contact..." Pallas also now properly apologizes to Dione: "Hey, uhh... by the way, sorry for putting you in the hospital to begin with... I really, really deeply regret it..." "I forgive you, Pallas.", she responds to this, "Heh... especially since I got to know you so much more by now. Now... Coeus... Thank you so much for being the best friend I could have possibly had... But this is goodbye." "Dione...", Coeus says with more defeat in his voice, "You're not gonna stay in contact with me, no matter what, are you?... And... you're probably also right that it's better for me to... learn to move on... though I'll always keep you in my heart and memory..." "You have to move on, yes... and I have an afterlife to be at. So... again, thanks for everything and... goodbye, Coeus." "Goodbye, Dione... Th-Thank you for... everything too..." The contact stop. Coeus still wipes tears off his face while Pallas continues to try being comforting for him. And as Dione has found her peace, she now disappears from Sheol to instead finally be in an afterlife of bliss.

As the magicians, Ace the Meowscarada included, see the gateway to Sheol disappearing, they can conclude that the story with Dione ends here and that they can now just simply return home. Though before Jolly uses a device he brought along to get back, Ace asks Persephone: "Where are you gonna go?" She just remarks: "You self-proclaimed good guys haven't won just yet... just knowing how to have a chance against Cronus doesn't guarantee success for you." So Jolly points out: "Y-You... avoided the question." She outright doesn't answer at all then, just lightly shaking her head a bit at them before walking away into... well, no particular direction at all. Just simply... away. So then the magicians return to inside their universe, to Earth specifically, where they then get ready to introduce their new brother Ace to their mother.

Charon dreams of all the memories he had made in the now erased universes where Dione was his wife. It feels incredibly real, because, well, it was. He wakes up with some tears on his face, as the realization of the life he could have had with her if things would have just gone a little differently is really hitting him now. Though then he smiles a bit at the following realization that he could make her happy in those lives and that he can treasure those memories while being in this life. Nonetheless, of course, this is still bittersweet. But it is good this way. It's good to have the memories.
