Many years ago I was watching QI with Rob Brydon as one of the guests and he talked about his "forefathers" and Stephen Fry joked, "You have four fathers? You Welsh are weird!" That was something that I guess stuck with me.
Last night I was watching the BBC series Merlin and like all typical fantasy and medieval series there's always this kind of way of speaking English where they would often use more old fashioned or formal terms and in this episode Arthur talks about his "forebears". Suddenly I was reminded of that Stephen Fry joke and imagined four bears. Then my mind went wandering.
I started to imagine four bears as a conjoined character and figuring out how they would be conjoined and I ended up with this. A bear taur, queen conjoined, with each upper torso having two heads.
If I do develop this character more as a full drawing I do plan on giving each head a unique personality, shown with different haircuts and adornments on the legs and arms.
