All of Icon Round 7 is complete! Had some cool critters in here, need to get more opportunities to paint feathers and scales I think. I love all of these, but I think my favorite ones to do backgrounds for are the storm ones. I'd like to replace my wintry icon with a storm once when I have the time!

Awesome, as usual! ^.^ You did this in PHOTOSHOP? I usually see this kind of quality in SAI! Most don't seem to like the ol' Adobe. How on EARTH did you get that lightning effect in there? Is it some new addition in CS5 I wasn't aware of or something? It's difficult to tell exactly WHAT they change in each new annual addition of that program..
No, actually it's just the regular ol' photoshop standard roundbrush all the way through, with exception of some foliage brushes! The only "effect" is that a couple layers are put on multiply, like the main shadow layer and some color accents here and there. I'm using CS4. =)
Haaaa, the dragon with the dragonfly on its nose, all happy, and then the fox with the bee, SCARED. These are great.
And the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the spider was 'kawaii'. Those big eyes...it's like something I'd see in a manga about cute spiders.
